Meet Matt Bostick, Co-Founder & Sommelier
While I'm a certified Sommelier, I quickly realized my true passion wasn't just collecting facts, it was sharing the pure joy of wine. I saw too many curious people held back by the fear of 'saying the wrong thing,' and I knew there had to be a better, more empowering way to learn.
I co-founded Frankie's Uncorked to be that answer. My mission is to be your guide, not your guru. I'm here to give you the framework and the confidence to listen to the only expert that truly matters: your own palate.

Confidence comes from clarity. That’s why we don’t just taste randomly; we use a simple, powerful system to understand how a wine is built. It’s not about memorizing facts, it’s about having a toolkit you can use on any wine, anywhere.

We teach you to feel, not just taste, the zesty, mouth-watering quality that makes a wine feel fresh and lively.

You’ll learn to assess the texture of a red wine. Is its "handshake" firm and grippy, or soft and gentle?

Using our simple milk analogy (skim, 2%, whole), you'll learn to identify the weight and richness of a wine on your palate.
